A very cost effective design service for your home or domestic scale workplace.

You send us your requirements and accurate details of your building (scale drawings of floor plans, elevations + sections plus photos).

From this, we will design up to 3 outline schemes to give you an idea of what is possible.

Accurate measured surveys of your building can be undertaken by us at an extra fee or by employing a land/building surveyor.

Can be included as a combo package with the eco-retrofitSTUDY for £660 available for a limited time only!

eco-retrofit  

We assess the existing energy situation of your property and using SAP and our own energy calculations provide you with up to 3 levels of improvements to your building. The first two levels (MINI and MIDI) are included within the standard package and the MAXI level is available for an extra cost if agreed necessary.
With each level, we provide a corresponding breakdown of estimated annual cost savings, outlay costs, the timescale to recover the outlay costs and the carbon footprint reduction of your property.

We feel that it should not be necessary in the 3rd millennium to expend a large percentage of your income on heat, light and power, and we seek to minimise these costs as much as is possible within your budget.

MINI, MIDI and MAXI

Our report contains up to 3 levels of improvements recommended for your property:

MINI - Incorporating improvements to insulation, lighting

MIDI - More involved improvements such as boiler replacement and renewable technology options.

MAXI - Structural improvements such as passive solar collectors. MAXI is available for an extra £300.

Each section will show estimated values for:

Initial costs
SAP value
Fuel savings
Renewable incentive income
Greenhouse gas emissions
Time taken to recover initial costs

These results convey how best to cost-effectively reduce energy costs within the home.

We can help further for a negotiated extra charge by looking at each method in more detail and putting you in contact with experienced companies that have the capability of carrying out any work you decide needs undertaking.

Complete Design Route  
 

Full architectural service, with CSH input if required, from initial enquiry to obtaining full Building Regulations Approval.

May include the eco-retrofitSTUDY product for some planning applications, e.g. barn conversions.

This full architectural service product includes the basic design elements contained within the 'Layout Options' and 'eco-retrofitSTUDY' products together with preparing your definitive scheme and making application for planning approval and obtaining Building Regulations approval.

The cost of this, very flexible, service depends very much on the time scale and detail required on the project and we cannot therefore include a price for our fees here. Please feel free to contact us to talk over your requirements.

Our fees are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
50% of the fee is payable in advance with the balance due on completion of our work prior to issue to you.
Prices shown are for houses up to 2000sqft (200m²). For quotes for larger premises please contact us.
